My second Yankee game ever, my first in the new stadium... COULD HAVE BEEN THIS ONE! Or even the 15 run shellacking of Santana. But no... I had to choose the Saturday loss.
Isnt Luis C. the same Marlin who caused the Bartman incident at Wrigley in 03? Yankees were so lucky. Mets can feel Red Sox '86 misery.

Aroid could not get a key hit if his life depended on it. Why were his teammates mobbing him when all he did was hit a pop up that should have been the third out? Castillo made the error, but errors happen. And Mets fans don't forget Castillo played a key role in the Mets getting Santana. He was Johan's best friend when they both played for the Twins and he influenced Johan's decision to join the Mets.
The best was Arod's interview after the game. He said Texeira hung in there and had a good at bat to get on base. What freakin' game was he watching? Texeira was on-base because he was walked.
Two things: Do you think ARod shouted something at Castillo to distract him, like he did in TO a while back; and second, WTF was Castillo staying on his knees soft tossing to second with Texeira rounding third.
